Tailor-Made
Every inspection is built for the vessel in front of us. Findings from one ship are never applied to another.
About Terramare PHS
Lead Inspector & Practice Lead
Forty years working aboard cruise ships: first as a ship's physician and medical director, then as one of the longest-tenured public-health inspectors in the industry. Experienced in both standalone construction inspections and operational readiness inspections across the full public-health scope.
As a licensed physician, Dr. Nodarse is uniquely qualified to inspect medical facility compliance under USPH Chapter 4, a capability other inspection firms cannot match. His background includes managing over 500 norovirus outbreaks at sea and decades of academic leadership, which underpins the training methodology built into every visit.
I check whether it's built right and whether it will last in service — I've spent forty years learning the difference.— Dr. Luis Nodarse
About Terramare PHS
Terramare PHS is the public health inspection vertical of Terramare Project Solutions, a cruise vessel renovation and project management firm with over 14 years serving the cruise industry. The same team that manages drydock renovations for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Margaritaville at Sea now brings independent public health inspection expertise to the vessels we know best.
Our inspection methodology is built on one principle: reports are primarily intended to offer constructive guidance, not just findings. Every corrective action is written specifically enough to act on. Every report is tailor-made to the vessel. And every visit closes with crew who are better prepared than when we arrived.
Our Approach
Every inspection is built for the vessel in front of us. Findings from one ship are never applied to another.
Reports are written to be acted on, not just to document. Every finding comes with a corrective action clear enough to execute without interpretation.
Full written report within 24 hours of our last day aboard or on site. Every time. Non-negotiable.
